The MIS program educational objectives are:

  1. Demonstrate leadership in the design, development and management of information systems to confront the ever-changing global engineering and business environments;
  2. Demonstrate sense of professionalism, ethical values, and commitment for society and the Management Information Systems profession.
  3. Engage in lifelong learning through graduate studies and/or professional training for continued professional excellence.

Student Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
  2. Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline.
  3. Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.
